Between Sun and Stone is a photographic study of the ritual year at Stonehenge, documenting the gatherings that mark the turning points of the seasons — the solstices and equinoxes.
Through portraiture and quiet observation, the series explores the connection between people, place and ritual. It captures the atmosphere of these ancient celebrations and the diverse community that comes together to honour the rhythm of the Earth.
The project was published as a 44-page zine in 2025, with 30% of proceeds supporting The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. It was later exhibited as part of the NeoAncients Festival in Stroud.
Rooted in curiosity, warmth and attentiveness, Between Sun and Stone reflects Livvi’s wider interest in how tradition continues to evolve, and how people find meaning in gathering together.
